Para fugir da neve de NY, vim passar uns dias em Vail, no Colorado, para pegar mais neve! A diferença é que aqui tem pistas de esquis maravilhosas.
A viagem é super tranquila – você pode pegar um voo direto de NY para Eagle que fica meia hora de carro de Vail ou ir via Denver – que fica umas 2 horas de carro. A cidade é um charme, tem restaurantes maravilhosos e hotéis incríveis.

Os meus prediletos são o Solaris – onde fiquei. Bacanérrimo e ainda por cima tem um Matsuhita no primeiro andar (para quem não conhece, o Matsuhita é conhecido com um dos melhores restaurantes japoneses do mundo) e um dos donos é o Robert de Niro. O Four Seasons daqui também é maravilhoso, com um bar bem bacana e um spa incrível! Se voce curte fondue – não da para deixar de ir no Swiss Chalet que fica dentro do Sonneanlp hotel! To run away from NY’s snow, I came to Vail, Colorado to… get more snow! The only difference is that here there are amazing ski slopes!
The trip from NY here is very easy – you can take a direct flight to Eagle (30 minutes from Vail) or to Denver (2:00 from Vail). The town is super charming and has incredible hotels and restaurants – my favorite hotel is the Solaris where I stayed. Very contemporary and comfortable – not to mention that there;s a Matsuhuta restaurante in the lobby (one of the best Japanese restaurants in the world) which is owned by Robert De Niro.

The Four Season also has an amazing bar and a fantastic SPA – definitely worth checking it out. If you like fondue – do not miss the Swiss Chalet at the Sonnenalp hotel.
